Document function
These Operating Instructions contain all the information that is required in various phases
of the life cycle of the device: from product identification, incoming acceptance and
storage, to mounting, connection, operation and commissioning through to
troubleshooting, maintenance and disposal.
Integrated Operating Instructions
The unit's simple control system enables you to perform commissioning for many
applications without the need for hardcopy operating instructions. At the push of a button,
the device displays operating instructions directly on the screen. These instructions are
nevertheless delivered with the unit - they supplement the Operating Instructions in the
unit. Anything that is not described directly at the device using plain text or selection lists
is explained here.

Ground connection
A grounded terminal which, as far as the operator is concerned, is grounded via a grounding

equalization line or a star grounding system depending on national or company codes of practice.
