Chapter 5 Operating Instructions
The
is used to configure the transmission
format to meet the requirements of the Laboratory Information System or
on-line computer. Instructions for using this option are given after the
following description of the soft keys.
The [REINIT INTERFACE] key is used to initialize the RS-232
interface for the displayed transmission configuration after it is entered.
The interface is automatically initialized whenever the [STOP
TRANSMISS] key is pressed.
NOTE: Refer to the Interface Specification for complete
information on interfacing or calling Customer Support Center at
1 (800) CELL DYN.
The [STOP TRANSMISS] key stops the current data transmission to the
on-line computer. When the [STOP TRANSMISS] key is pressed, the
following soft key labels are displayed:
CONFIRM STOP
CANCEL STOP
These keys confirm or cancel the Stop Transmission command.
The [TOGGLE ON/OFF] key enables or disables the first five options
in the list displayed on the COMPUTER SETUP Screen.

1.
Auto-transmission of ALERTED parameter data
When this option is enabled, a report is automatically transmitted
to the LIS for any sample with flagged parameter results.
2.
Auto-transmission of NON-ALERTED parameter data
When this option is enabled, a report is automatically transmitted
to the LIS for any sample without flagged parameter results.
3.
Auto-transmission of ALERTED graphic data
When this option is enabled, histograms and scatterplots are
automatically transmitted to the LIS for any sample with flagged
results.
