Installing the Serial I or the Serial II Transfer Disk

Installing the Serial I or the Serial II Transfer Disk can be done by the customer or service
engineer.

Starting at the

Main Menu

, select the

Setup

icon.

Select the

Additional Setup

menu.

3) Select

Install Software

When the “Insert an HFA optional software floppy disk then pres OK to begin installation”
dialogue appears, insert the Serial I Transfer disk or the Serial II Transfer disk and press
the OK button.

When the “Installing Revision XXX“ Press OK to Continue” dialogue appears, press OK.

After a few seconds the “Optional software installation successful” dialogue appears,
Press OK.

NOTE:

It is not necessary to restart the instrument for the new software to become active. The

new features will become active after installation.
