CRITICAL ERROR
MESSAGES
Critical Error messages indicate that the PDA can not perform its
function properly. If a chromatographic run is in progress when a
Critical Error occurs the data may be corrupted or lost, and the run
will be terminated. Possible Critical Error messages include:
“PM: Attach has failed. There may be an existing connection.”
“PM: Queue creation failed; exceeded maximum values.”
“PM: The UV6000LP is running out of internal buffers. Most
probable cause: data rate too high. Injection will be aborted to prevent
message depletion.”
“PM: Could not write to a queue. You should probably exit the
software and/or cycle the power on the UV6000LP to ensure future
data integrity.”
“PM: A queue is too deep, might be a problem. It may be best to exit
the software and/or cycle the power on the UV6000LP to ensure
future data integrity.”
“ PM: Could not transmit; Communications have been lost. You will
have to reconnect .”
“State: Communications have been lost, tossing packets.”
“Tungsten Lamp Failure.”
“Deuterium Lamp Failure.”
