Parameters found on this page define the data that will appear on the
Display page. These values must be specified and downloaded to the
detector before viewing real-time data on the Display page. The
Control page parameters are organized into five groups. There are
also 3 buttons for loading the parameters to and from the UV6000LP.
Figure 5.3 shows the default settings for operation in the Absorbance
mode. Figure 5.4 shows the default settings for the Intensity mode.

Mode Group
The Mode group contains two radio buttons for selecting either
intensity mode or absorbance mode. In the absorbance mode (see
Figure 5.5) the following apply:
•
A bandwidth filter is used in the wavelength axis
•
A rise time filter is used in the time axis
•
Spectral scans and chromatogram plots are automatically
zeroed at the start of data collection
•
Wavelength units are nanometers (190 to 800 nm)
•
The Y axis is in milli-absorbance units (mAU)
