Power Entry Module
The Power Entry Module and Front Power Button/Mechanical Cable
are replaced as an assembly. To remove this assembly:
HINT To gain easier access to the Power Entry Module, you may want to
remove the Transition PCBA on the rear panel of the detector chassis.:
1.
Disconnect the green and yellow ground lead on the right side
of the Power Entry Module.
2.
Disconnect the leads (P3 through P10) connected to the voltage
selector.
3.
Carefully turn the detector on to its side and remove the two

Allen head screws holding the Front Power Button and
bracket to the chassis (Figure 8.6). (Pull the “L” shaped button
protector aside to allow installation of the replacement
assembly.)
4.
Cut the plastic tie wrap holding the mechanical cable to the
plastic mounting fixture on the underside of the chassis.
5.
Pull the mechanical cable, bracket and power button through
the cutout opening in the underside of the chassis.
6.
Loosen the two 5/64
″
Allen head screws holding the Power
Entry Module in the rear panel (Figure 8.7) and slide the entire
assembly out through the rear of the chassis.
