The Snapshot button allows the operator to record an intensity or
absorbance scan. This button is only active after the Data Stop button
has been clicked.
NOTE: The Snapshot button can be used to collect a single intensity or
absorbance spectrum. This can be helpful in monitoring light levels
throughout the lifetime of the lamps. If the Snapshot button is selected, the
data is stored in the ChromQuest directory as a .csv file which can be
renamed and opened in Excel. The scan is named data0.csv, the second
scan is named data1.csv and so on. Each time the diagnostics program is
opened, the .csv file counter will be reset and any .csv files which have not
been renamed will be overwritten.
Scan Display
The Scan display allows viewing and adjustment of the spectral scans
in the middle display area. The Scan fields located on the Control
page determine what wavelength range is displayed. The Scan
display is updated every few seconds.
By clicking the right mouse button and selecting Properties from the
pop-up menu, you can adjust the display’s wavelength axis and also
set the minimum and maximum Counts or mAU for the respective
intensity or absorbance axis. The Scan display color scheme can also
be adjusted from the Properties box.
Discrete Channel
Display
The Discrete Channel display allows viewing and adjustment of the
chromatograms in the lower display area. The Channel check boxes
on the Control page determine which channel or channels will be
displayed. The Discrete Channel display is continuously updated as
specified in the Control page. If there is an interruption, any data
points collected since the last update are automatically updated on the
display.
By clicking the right mouse button and selecting Properties from the
pop-up menu, you can adjust the display’s time axis and also set the
minimum and maximum Counts per mAU for the intensity versus
absorbance axis. The Discrete Channel display color scheme can also
be adjusted from the Properties box.
