In the Select Calibration File dialog box, browse to the folder
that contains the peakset files. They are normally stored in
Atlas_Root\sys. Select an appropriate peakset file, for
example, SNetUV6000Calibration.cal. Then, click on the Open
button. This launches the wavelength calibration wizard. Click
on the Next button to proceed to the second page of the wizard.
NOTE: If you choose a peakset file containing invalid data or
information, an error message is displayed. When you click on the OK
button, the wizard is aborted.

In the second page of the wizard, choose a set of peaks to be
used in the calibration from the list in the left hand pane. The
characteristics of the set are displayed in the right hand pane
when you make a selection. These details are read from the
peakset file selected at the start of the wizard. Click on the
Next button to proceed to the third page of the wizard.

In the third page of the wizard, the progress of the calibration is
indicated with the following steps:
Checking lamp states
Retrieving current method
Retrieving current calibration
Downloading calibration method
The Next button is not active until these steps are complete.
Click on the Next button to proceed to the fourth page of the
wizard.

In the fourth page of the wizard, you are instructed to turn the
filter wheel of the UV6000 detector to position 2. The Next
button is not active until this has been done. Click on the Next
button to proceed to the fifth page of the wizard.
7.
In the fifth page of the wizard, the following calibration steps
are performed:
Waiting for equilibration (5 sec)
Getting calibration data
Restoring saved method
The Next button is not active until the steps are complete. Click
on the Next button to proceed.

In the sixth page of the wizard, you are instructed to turn the
filter wheel of the UV6000 detector to position 1. The Next
button becomes active once you have done this. Click on the
Next button to proceed to the seventh page of the wizard.
9.
In the seventh page of the wizard, the results of the calibration
are shown. The results table lists how close the calibration got
to each peak in the calibration peak set. Click on the Apply
button to accept the calibration.
