PiXtend V2 -L- Hardware Manual
Problem
The green LED "5V" lights up and the Raspberry Pi goes up normally. However, the
data exchange between Raspberry Pi and PiXtend V2 -L- does not seem to work (for
example, relays or outputs can not be set).
Fehlersuche
Check whether the "SPI_EN" switch is set to "ON". This makes communication between
Raspberry Pi and PiXtend V2 -L- possible.
If you are working with CODESYS and have created your own project, always ensure that
the GPIO24 (the Raspberry Pi) is configured as an output and set to logical "1" (TRUE)
(see Fig. 42). The GPIO24 is the signal which is transmitted via the "SPI_EN" switch and
activates the data transmission.
If the problem is not resolved, please note the following:
If we are looking for such an error, the SD images (CODESYS Control or Basic Image) are
used from our
homepage
. These are tested extensively at Qube Solutions and all settings
are made.
If you have a Raspbian system yourself and want to use it, please move the SD card aside
until you have ensured a working communication with our images. You can then switch
back to your own system.
