PiXtend V2 -L- Hardware Manual
The analog voltage inputs can measure DC and AC voltages. When using alternating
voltages, the input filters must be observed. Only measurements in the positive range are
possible. Negative voltages can be applied within the specified maximum values but can
not be mesasured.
PiXtend V2 -L- can not automatically evaluate the jumper state (plugged / unplugged) of
the analog voltage inputs. If you insert the jumper, the software must react accordingly
(adjust the conversion factor).
In CODESYS, for example, the jumper position can be conveniently set via "PiXtend
V2_L" -> "SPI devices Parameters". The PiXtend Linux tools (pxdev) and our Python
Library also handle the switching between 5V and 10V measuring range.
Warning!
Voltages greater than +/- 30 V DC can lead to overheating and defect
of components.
** Deviations up to 2% (relative to the scale end value) are possible under EMC exposure.
