The diagram below shows the connection of ohmic and inductive AC loads to the relay
outputs.
Before 115 V / 230 V or other hazardous voltages are connected to the relays, please
read all safety and connection notes.
Wichtiger Hinweis!
When handling 115 V / 230 V mains voltage, a residual current
circuit breaker / ground fault circuit interrupter (personal
protection) must always be used!
In the case of inductive loads, a so-called snubber network (RC element) is to be used
externally, which intercepts and attenuates voltage peaks during switch-off.
Inductive loads are motors, relays, magnetic coils, power supplies with transformers etc.
Alternating voltages may only be connected to the four relays. All other connections of
PiXtend V2 -L- are not designed for alternating voltages and never for mains voltage.
