4.2.2.DIN rail housing
First, the grounding claw is installed. On which side of the aluminum profile the claw is
inserted does not play any role. It is only to be considered here that the protective earth
connection (PE) is later attached to this claw. Depending on the installation position,
therefore, one side can be more suitable than the other.
The earthing claw is inserted in the center of the aluminum profile and pressed into the
recess with your thumb. The side of the claw, which only has one contact tab, points
outwards (see Figure 9). If the claw can not be pressed by hand (too hard), then a normal
hammer or rubber hammer can be used.
Next, a side part of the housing is screwed on the side on which the grounding claw has
just been pressed.
