OFFLINE SUBSTATE:
The OFFLINE SUBSTATE button is a switch that toggles between
Attempt Online , Host Offline and Equipment Offline . The Attempt
Online option can be set so that if the Initial Control State link fails, the
Integra can continue to attempt completing the link as long as the
INITIAL COMM STATE remains Enabled . If one of the other OFFLINE
SUBSTATE settings is chosen, the system does not automatically attempt
the link again. The link may be attempted manually.
ONLINE SUBSTATE:
The ONLINE SUBSTATE button is a switch that toggles between
Remote and Local . If the setting is Remote when the Integra boots
up, the Integra attempts to establish a link where control of the
system is determined by the factory host. If the setting is
Local when
the Integra boots up, the Integra attempts to establish a link where
operational control remains in the Integra. In the
Local state only
data passes between the host and the Integra.
PROTOCOL PARAMETERS
DEVICE ID:
The DEVICE ID number becomes part of the communication link
with the factory host. It is used by the host system to identify the
Integra. This number should be set by the system administrator.
To set the DEVICE ID parameter, touch the number box next to the
parameter to bring up the
NUMBER PAD
screen. Enter the desired
timeout in seconds, and then touch the ENTER key to set the number
and close the
NUMBER PAD
screen.
