RECIPE TRANSFER PROCEDURE (COPY DISK)
The Process Recipes contain numerous variables. If more than one
Synergy system in a manufacturing facility will use the same Process
Recipe, it can be transferred to a 3
1/2
” floppy (COPY TO OS9
FLOPPY or COPY TO DOS FLOPPY), and from the floppy to the
other system(s) using the COPY FROM OS9 FLOPPY or COPY
FROM DOS FLOPPY button.
Use the following procedure to transfer Process Recipes from one
system to another.
1 Display the
PROCESS PROGRAM MANAGEMENT SCREEN

2 Place the disk in the drive slot in the Electrical Enclosure and
touch the FORMAT FLOPPY button for all software ver 2.2.2 and
lower. If the software ver is 2.2.3 or higher, then a DOS formatted
disk can be used without reformating to the OS-9 format. If using
a DOS diskette, continue to step 4 of this procedure.
The format in which the system operates is not DOS, so the 3

DOS floppy must be reformatted in order to accept the Process
Recipe information. When the disk is reformatted, all current
information on it will be lost.
