4.13 Operation using the second acceleration/
deceleration time

When the power supply is 400V
class, install a step-down
transformer.

When an inverter with a
regenerative brake resistor is used
for cyclic or heavy duty operation, it
is recommended to install a
magnetic contactor in the primary
side to prevent the brake discharge
resistor from overheat/burnout if
the regenerative brake transistor is
damaged due to the thermal
capacity shortage of the discharge
resistor, and excessive
regenerative brake duty, etc.

Turning ON-OFF the RT signal
changes the manual torque boost
and base frequency to the second
function, in addition to acceleration
and deceleration, as listed below:

1. Using ready, turn ON the
start signal.
2. Press the high speed
pushbutton to make sudden
acceleration only during the
time set to timer T1 and
perform high-speed
operation.
3. Press the middle speed
pushbutton to make sudden
deceleration only during the
time set to timer T2 and
perform middle-speed
operation.
4. Provide the stop signal to
decelerate the motor to a
stop.
