N69143A, N69145A, and N69146A units

The following graphs show the output voltage and current programming response characteristic. The
voltage response applies with no load conditions. The current response applies with AC short-circuit
conditions where the DUT is a low impedance operating above 10% of the rated output of the unit,
with less than 1 foot of load leads. The table provides additional bandwidth details.

Excessive Dynamic Protection

N69172A and N69173A units

To prevent the unit from disabling the output due to an excessive dynamic protection (

EDP

) condition,

you must limit the amplitude of any user-defined arbitrary waveform versus output frequency.

The following graph plots the maximum permissible output peak-to-peak voltage that can safely be
generated by the arbitrary waveform system at a specific frequency. The values are normalized in
terms of full scale peak to peak voltage; therefore all models are represented.
