Removing adapters

Before you begin

Read “Safety information” on page 70 and “Handling
static-sensitive devices” on page 72.

Turn the server and all other connected devices off.

Disconnect all external cables and power cords, and then
remove the server cover (see “Preparing to install and
remove options” on page 75).

1. Remove the access clip on the rear frame by sliding it upward

approximately 12mm (0.5 in) then slide it to the right until it
comes off.
