CYLINDER/PISTON
Be careful not to
damage the gasket
surface.
R e m o v e th e gasket a n d d o w e l pins.
C lean o ff a n y g asket m a te ria l fro m th e c y lin d e r
u p p e r surface.
Place a clean shop
towel over the
crankcase to
prevent the clip
from falling into the
crankcase.
PISTON REMOVAL
R e m o v e th e piston pin clip w ith pliers.
Push th e p isto n p in o u t o f th e p isto n an d conn ectin g
rod, an d re m o v e th e p iston.
R e m o v e th e oil je t a n d O -rin g fro m th e crankcase.
Do not damage the S p re a d each piston ring a n d re m o v e it b y liftin g up
piston ring by
a p o in t o p p o s ite th e g ap.
