FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Do n ot get grease

on the brake disc or

stopping pow er will

be reduced.

Install the front pulser ring onto the right wheel hub,

Ihen tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

TORQUE: 7 N m (0.71 kgf-m, 5 Ibf-ft)

Apply grease to new dust seal lips, then install them

into the wheel hub.

INSTALLATION

Install the right and left side collars.

Place the front wheel between the fork legs so the
brake disc is positioned between the brake pads

Apply thin coat of grease to the axle shaft sliding
surface.

Insert the axle shaft from the left side until it is fully

seated.

Hold the axle and tighten the axle bolt to the speci

fied torque.

TORQUE: 59 N-m (6.0 kgf-m, 44 Ibf-ft)

Tighten the right axle pinch bolts to the specified
torque.

TORQUE: 22 N-m (2.2 kgf-m, 16 Ibf-ft)
