7. Oil Level Switch Relay O utput Inspection

Connect the oil level switch relay 4P (Gray) con

nector terminals of the w ire harness side w ith a

jum per wire.

Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop

switch " O " .

Measure the voltage between the oil level switch

wire terminal and ground.

Connection: Yellow/red (♦) - Ground (-)

Does th e b a tte ry voltage e x is t?

YES

GO TO STEP 8.

- Open circuit in yellow/red wire.

OIL LEVEL SWITCH RELAY 4P (Gray)

CONNECTOR (Wire side of female term inal)

WIRE TERMINAL

. Oil Level Switch Relay Drive Circuit Inspection

Turn the ignition switch OFF.

Disconnect the jum per wire.
Install the oil level switch relay.
Disconnect the ECM 33P (Gray) connector.

Turn the ignition switch ON and engine stop

switch " O m-

Measure the voltage between the ECM 33P

(Gray) connector and ground.

Connection: Yellow/blue (+) - Ground (-)

TOOL:
Test probe

YES

- Replace the ECM w ith a new one, and

recheck.

- Open circuit in the yellow/blue wire.
