FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Install  the  stopper  ring  into  the  groove  into the  fork
slider,  being careful  not to scratch the fork tube d id
ing  surface.

Coat a new dust seal lips w ith fork flu id and install

it.

DUST SEAL

STOPPER RING

FORK PROTECTOR

Install the fork protector.

INSTALLATION

Install the fork leg into the steering stem and top
bridge.

Align the top end of the fork tube w ith the upper

surface of the top bridge.

Tighten the fork bottom bridge pinch bolts to the

specified torque.

TORQUE: 40 N-m (4.1 kgf-m, 30 Ibf-ft)

Tighten the fork cap to the specified torque if it was

removed.

TORQUE: 22 N-m (2.2 kgf-m, 16 Ibf-ft)

Tighten the fork top bride pinch bolt to the specified
torque.

TORQUE: 23 N-m (2.3 kgf-m, 17 Ibf-ft)

Install the follow ing:

- Front fender (page 3-12)

- Front wheel (page 15-15)

BOTTOM BRIDGE PINCH BOLT

FORK CAP

TOP BRIDGE PINCH BOLT
