FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING

Pour the specified am ount of the recommended fork

fluid into the fork tube.

RECOMMENDED FORK FLUID:

Pro Honda Suspension Fluid SS-8 (10W)

or equivalent

FORK FLUID CAPACITY:

475 ± 2.5 cm3 (16.1 ± 0.08 US oz, 16.7 ± 0.09 Imp oz)

Slow ly pum p the fork tube several tim es to remove
any trapped air from the lower portion of the fork

tube.

Compress the fork tube fully. Measure the fluid level

from the top of the fork tube.

FORK FLUID LEVEL: 105 mm (4.1 in)

Pull the fork tube up and install the fork spring w ith

the tapered side (tightly wound coil side) facing

down.

FORK SPRING

DOWN

Install the spring seat and collar.

SPRING SEAT

Coat a new O-ring w ith fork fluid and install it into

the fork cap groove.

Be careful not tc

Hold the fork cap securely and nstall it into the fork

cross-thread th6

tube.

Tighten the fork cap

after installing th6

fork tube into the

fork bridge.
