to r and recheck the DTC.

Sensor System Inspection
Start the engine and v/arm up the engine up to
coolant te m perature is 80 °C (176 °F).
T est-ride the m otorcyc e.
Check the O
2
sensor w ith the HDS pocket tester.
Is th e DTC21-1 in d ic a te d ?
NO - • Check the fuel pressure (page 6-39).
• If the system is correct, GO TO STEP
3.
YES - GO TO STEP 2.

Sensor Open Circuit Inspection
Turn the ig n itio n switch OFF.
Disconnect the ECM 33P connecto r and O
2
sen­
sor 4P (W hite) connector.
Check fo r c o n tin u ity between the ECM 33P con­
nector o f the w ire harness side and O
2
sensor 4P
(W hite) connector o f the w ire harness side.
CONNECTION: A18 - Green/orange
B20 - Blue/black
TOOL:
Test probe 07ZAJ-RDJA110
Is there c o n tin u ity ?
YES - GO TO STEP 3.
NO - • Open circuit in G reen/orange w ire.
• Open circu it in Blue/black w ire.

Connect the O

sensor 4P (W hite) connector and
Disconnect the ECM 33P (Light gray) connector.
Check the c o n tin u ity between the ECM 33P
(Light gray) connector o f the w ire harness side
and ground.
CONNECTION: B20 - Ground
