Starting Clutch Inspection
S ta rt th e e n g in e a n d check th e m o to rc y c le do not s ta rt at 1,400 m in '1 (rp m ).
Does the m o to rcycle start?
YES

NO

3. HFT Oil Pressure Inspection
Inspect th e H FT oil pressure (p a g e 1 1-12).
Is the o il pressure norm al?
YES
- G O T O S TE P 4.
NO
- C lo g g e d oil passage o r inspect th e oil p u m p (p a g e 5-8).
4. HFT Inspection w ith The Engine Installed in The Frame
Inspect th e H FT w ith th e e n g in e in stalled in th e fra m e (p a g e 1 1-14).
Is the HFT correct?
YES
- R eplace th e en gin e o il, th e n p e rfo rm th e H F T in itia liza tio n p ro c e d u re (p a g e 11-93) and
recheck.
NO
- F aulty H FT
START THE MOTORCYCLE WITH NEUTRAL POSITION

YES

- Inspect th e neutral oil pressu re sw itch (p a g e 11-106).
3. N /D Clutch Inspection
Inspect th e N /D clutch (page 11-82).
Is the N /D clu tch correct?
YES
