6.2 Saving Data

Setting configurations can be saved as data files and later reloaded into the instrument
when you need to make more measurements with the same settings.
Up to five setting configurations can be saved to internal memory, and more
can be stored on the removal storage device.
To Save a Setting Configuration
Select the
[Setting]
Screen.
Select
[Save Set.]
Apply
The Save dialog appears.

Setting configuration files are automat-
ically named CONFnnnn.SET in a fold-
er named [HIOKI_LR8410]-[CONFIG]
(p. 159).

figuration instance (No.)
to save.
Enter a comment as needed
(p. 98).
Apply

Comments entered on the
[Comment]
screen
are displayed here.
If no comments have been entered, the date and
time at which the file was saved will be displayed
in the format [Year-Month-Date Hour:Min.:Sec.].
Setting conditions saved in the instrument’s
memory can be saved together in a file on the
SD memory card or USB flash drive. Set the
save location for the setting list (BDL file) to
[SD]
or
[USB]
and press
ENTER
. A file with
the filename
[LIST+Automatic_number(0001).BDL] will be
saved in the “Config” folder in the
“HIOKI_LR8410” directory.
