block. and on the Subtests tab.
Allows the configuration of each enabled subtest.
Throughput
The objective of this test is to find the throughput of the device under test
for which there is no frame loss. Starting at the specified maximum rate
(
Max. Rate
), the rate converges towards the highest throughput without
frame loss. The search is done with a halving/doubling method until a final
value is reached. The throughput measurement is validated the number of
times specified (
Validations ) for the predefined duration (Trial Duration) .
The
Accuracy
setting specifies how precise the result must be. The test is
performed for each defined frame size.

Max. Rate
is the maximum rate the test should begin with, in terms of
a percentage of the line rate ( % ), Mbit/s , or Gbit/s . For Dual Test Set
Max. Rate is configurable for both local to remote (
L->R
) and remote
to local ( R->L ) directions.
