Remove the two lamp housing screws and swing the lamp housing cover up 
and out of the way (Figure 8-8).

Caution: To avoid damage to the lamp, always wear gloves when removing or installing 
lamps. If you touch the glass surface with your bare hands, clean the lamp with alcohol 
and a clean cloth.

Unscrew the two lamp socket screws at the base of the lamp socket housing. 

5.

 

Slide the lamp socket housing (with the bulb still intact) from the lamp 
housing box.

Caution: The bulb and lamp socket are fragile. Do not strain the glass seal when 
removing the bulb from the lamp socket.
