DP120F/DP125F Troubleshooting
3.6.1 Error Messages
When an error occurs, the applicable LED illuminates or blinks with an error message indicated
on the LCD display.

ENTRY MEMORY FULL
JOB MEMORY FULL
Cause
Hardware device error occurred.
"XX” is an error code, which iden-
tify the cause of error. This error
shows that the terminal dose not
work any more.
The phonebook data (One touch
dialing, Abbreviated dialing, Group
number) are lost.
Network related PBA (GF-1010:
Optional NIC/Relay PBA) is out
of order. Network related features
do not work.
PCL board (GA-1020: Optional
PCL board) is out of order.
PCL printing do not work.
A power failure occurred during a
communication or a memory re-
ception.
The Scanner cover is open.
The Top cover is open.
The memory set aside for Speed
dial numbers (i.e. One Touch Keys
and Abbreviated Dial Numbers)
has been exhausted.
The maximum number of manu-
ally input phone numbers (100)
has been reach.
Remedy
Turn the power off and then on.
If the message is displayed repeat-
edly, check the error code displayed
on the LCD and refer to “3.6.2 Device
Error Codes” on page 11-51.
Press the [STOP] key, then perform
settings again. When this message is
displayed repeatedly, refer to “4.3.1
BROKEN REGISTRATION” on page
11-59.
Confirm the GF-1010 is installed prop-
erly.
Confirm the GA-1020 is installed prop-
erly.
Confirm the contents using the power
failure list.
Close the Scanner cover firmly.
If the message is displayed repeat-
edly, refer to “4.3.2 SCANNER
COVER OPEN” on page 11-59.
Close the Top cover firmly.
If the message is displayed repeat-
edly, refer to “4.3.3 TOP COVER
OPEN” on page 11-60.
Delete unneed number, alternate num-
bers, and unnecessary pauses. Use
shorter names for the dialing address.
Split your transmission into two or
more jobs.
