2.4 Base Block
2.4.1 Fuser
Before disassembling or reassembling, be sure to refer to “1. Before Disassembling or Reas-
sembling.”
CAUTION: The fuser has a very high temperature while the facsimile is in opera-
tion. Before touching the fuser, turn off the power and wait until the
fuser cools down.

Open the top cover.
(2)
Disconnect the connector from the hide plate.

Remove the operation panel assembly. (Refer to “2.1.2 Operation Panel Assembly.”)
