MF (Multi-frequency)
Connects the telephone line of the facsimile unit, and uses it as a MF Line.
DP (Dial pulse)
Connects the telephone line of the facsimile unit, and uses it as a DP Line.
(2) Then the Line 2 screen appears. Use the [
↑
] or [
↓
] key to move the cursor to the desired
option (DP or MF) in the DIAL TYPE (LINE-2) screen, then press the [ENTER] key.
(3) Enter the telephone number of your facsimile unit, then press [ENTER] key.
TEL NUMBER = (MAX20)
Enter a maximum of 20 digits including blank spaces and the International Code.
When the Optional 2nd NCU PBA is installed, the screen in Step (3) is displayed for the
LINE-2 setting. In this case repeat (2) through (3) for the LINE-2 requirements.
(4) When the “OPERATION COMPLETED” message is displayed, press the [STOP] key to
return to the Standby Mode screen.
1.1.4 Dial Type [MENU], [3], [4]
This setting is used to determine the dial type of the telephone line to which the facsimile unit is
connected.
(1) Use the [

] keys to move the cursor to the desired option (DP or MF) in the DIAL
TYPE screen, then press the [ENTER] key.
