High Voltage Contacts
Before disassembling or reassembling, be sure to refer to “1. Before Disassembling or Reas-
sembling.”
(1)
Remove the base paper guide. (Refer to “2.4.15 Base Paper Guide.”)
(2)
Remove the printer frame front. (Refer to “2.4.16 Printer Frame Front.”)
(3)
Remove the printer frame rear. (Refer to “2.4.17 Printer Frame Rear and Gears.”)
(4)
Release the two hooks of the high voltage guide front from the hole of the base frame, and
remove the high voltage guide.
(5)
Disconnect the two spade connectors from the high voltage guide front.
(6)
Release the two hooks of the high voltage guide rear from the hole of the base frame, and
remove the high voltage guide.
(7)
Disconnect the three spade connectors from the high voltage guide rear.

Reassemble the components in the reverse order of disassembly.
NOTE:
When installing the high voltage contacts, make sure that the five spade
connectors on the HVPS contact the spring terminals of the high voltage
contacts properly. Be careful not to catch dust between the spade connec-
tors on the HVPS and spring spade connectors of the high voltage con-
tacts.
