1.3 TX Settings
1.3.1 Memory TX
[MENU], [4], [2], [01]
This is to set whether the scanned document data is stored in memory.

Use the [
↑
] or [
↓
] keys to select the desired option (ON or OFF), then press the
[ENTER] key.
ON
All documents are stored in memory before being transmitted. The transmission may
occur immediately, or it can be a delayed transmission. Transmission of a document will
not occur until the remote machine has been contacted. With this feature set to ON, the
greatest productivity of the unit can be realized.
OFF
No documents are scanned to memory. All documents are held until the remote unit picks
up the line. For a Delayed transmission, it will be held until the desired transmit time, then
the remote machine will be contacted, then the transmission will take place.
<Remarks>
In the case of a Multi address transmission, it will be scanned to memory
regardless of this setting.

After the “OPERATION COMPLETED” message is displayed, press the [STOP] key to
return to the Standby Mode screen.
