1.5 FUNCTION TEST [MENU], [9], [4]*
(* The keystrokes given reflect continuous Service Mode operation, they will vary slightly for
single use operation.)
The FUNCTION TEST Mode is used to check various functions of this machine.
<Remarks> “10. NET. BOARD TEST” and “11. PCL BOARD TEST” are displayed only
when the GF-1010 (Optional NIC) and GA-1020 (Optional PCL board) are
installed, respectively.
1.5.1 OPE. PANEL TEST [MENU], [9], [4], [01]
This test is used to check the LCD, LED and scanner LED array, and each key on the Opera-
tion panel.
(1) Use the [
↑
] or [
↓
] key to select the “01. OPE. PANEL TEST”, and then press the
[ENTER] key.
(2) All the LED's are lit. Check that each LED turns on and off normally. All the dots of the LCD
is turn on and off.

(3) Press the [START] key, and “S” will appear on the display and the cursor automatically will
move upper left to lower right. Check if the LCD display is normal.
