Overview

The eluent generator setup procedure for carbonate/bicarbonate eluent
consists of the following main steps:

•

Installing the EluGen cartridge.

•

Connecting the EluGen cartridge vent line.

•

Installing the EPM.

•

Plumbing the EPM for conditioning.

•

Recording the EluGen cartridge and the EPM serial numbers in
Chromeleon.

•

Conditioning the EluGen cartridge and the EPM.

•

Installing the EGC CO

Mixer.

•

Temporarily filling the EGC CO

Mixer with deionized water.

•

Filling the EGC CO

Mixer with eluent of the required concentration.

•

Completing the eluent generator setup.
