If the ribbon is twisted, untwist it.
Untwist it as much as possible. There is a resident half-twist in the ribbon that may end up
between the ribbon guide and one end of the cartridge. The ribbon will still work like this. Turn
the ribbon advance knob to tighten the ribbon fabric. The ribbon will not work if the 1/2 twist is
on the ribbon guide itself.
