The priority of lethal arrhythmia alarms is always high. It cannot be altered.
8.6.4.2
Setting the Lethal Arrhythmia Alarms Switch
To disable the arrhythmia alarms, follow this procedure:
1.
Select the
Main Menu

Select the
Alarm
tab
→
select the
Other
tab.
3.
From the
Other
block, set
Lethal Arrhys Off
.

Lethal Arrhys Off
is set to
Disable
by default. In this case, you cannot switch off arrhythmia alarms.

If you set
Lethal Arrhys Off
to
enable
, you can switch off arrhythmia alarms from the
ECG
menu. For
8.6.4.1 Changing Arrhythmia Alarm Settings
WARNING
•
If you switch off all arrhythmia alarms, the monitor will not alarm for any arrhythmia event. This may
result in a hazard to the patient. Always keep the patient under close surveillance.
NOTE
•
If any of the lethal arrhythmia alarms is switched off, the ECG waveform area displays the “Lethals
Off” message.
8.6.4.3
Changing Arrhythmia Alarm Threshold Settings
You can change threshold settings for some arrhythmia alarms. When an arrhythmia violates its threshold, an
alarm will be triggered. To do so, follow this procedure:
1.
Select the ECG numeric area or waveform area to enter the
ECG
menu.
2.
Select the
Arrhythmia
tab
→
select the
Threshold
tab.
3.
Enter the password if required. For more information, refer to
6.9.3 Selecting Password for User
.
4.
Set the threshold of desired arrhythmia alarms.
NOTE
•
The asystole delay time relates to ECG relearning. When heart rate is less than 30 bpm, it is
recommended to set Asystole Delay to 10 sec.
