Cleaning the bottom surface of the carriage

Check the head condition. Clean the bottom surface of the carriage using the supplied swab.

STEP

Put the device into the MAINTENANCE mode.

(Refer to Page 3.13)

Press [ENTER] key.

Press [ ] and [ ] key until the display gives

the indication [Carriage].

Press [ENTER] key.

The carriage will move toward left of the device.

Open the station cover L.

• Chain the station cover.

(Refer to Page 3.12)

Using the supplied swab with water, remove

ink adhered at the bottom surface of the car-

riage around the head.

• Never rub the surface of the nozzle, as

this may cause discharge failure.

Take the chain off from the cover and close the

station cover L, then press [ENTER] key.

The device enters the fabric width detection.
