About Drag and Drop Operation Using Stored File Manager 3
z When drag and drop a document from the folder, the document is copied and still
remains in the folder. To delete the document in the folder, select [Delete] from the
toolbar.
z When you drag and drop a document that temporary file name exceeds 107 characters,
you cannot retrieve the document. Temporary file name consists of the following:
If the user name exceeds 39 characters, it may exceed 107 characters.

You can change the directory of the temporary file by: [File] > [Details] > [Other settings]
> [Temporary Save in]

Internet/Intranet Connection
Depending on the web server, server application, proxy server, and firewall, you may not be
able to connect to the Internet or intranet.
To connect to the Internet or intranet using a third party server application, proxy, or
firewall, the following requirements must be met:
z Supporting Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012,
Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, or
Windows 10
z Comply with the following conditions:
- RFC2616: Hypertext Transfer Protocol HTTP/1.1 (Standard connection/SSL
connection/Proxy authentication)
- RFC2617: HTTP Authentication: Basic and Digest Access Authentication (only Basic
authentication is supported, the other authentications are not supported)
- RFC2817: Upgrading to TLS Within HTTP/1.1
- RFC2818: HTTP Over TLS
z Supporting the HTTP/HTTPS schemata
z Supporting the GET/CONNECT/POST methods

Restrictions on Macintosh (standard)
z In Macintosh environment, the Scan features using the Direct Fax feature and a TWAIN
scanner driver cannot be used.
z The print driver for Max OS X adopts the Plugin driver, which enables you to make the
settings for the authentication information and to use the Secure Print feature.
