3.1.1.5 Installation and Wiring
Installation on DIN rail
1. The ELC can be secured to a cabinet by using 35mm height and 7.5mm in depth DIN rail.
When mounting the ELC to 35mm DIN rail, be sure to use the retaining clip to stop any
side-to-side movement of the ELC and reduce the chance of wires coming loose. The
retaining clip is at the bottom of the ELC. To secure the ELC to DIN rail, pull the clip down,
place it onto the rail and push the clip back up. To remove the ELC, pull the retaining clip
down with a flat screwdriver and remove the ELC from the DIN rail.
2. Install the ELC in an enclosure with sufficient space around it to allow heat dissipation, as
shown in the figure.
