Safety Instructions
For the best results with the Eaton Logic Controller (ELC), carefully read this manual and all of the
warning labels regarding the ELC before installing and operating it. Follow all instructions exactly
and keep this manual handy for quick reference.
Safety notices are highlighted in this manual by a warning triangle and are marked as depending
on the level of danger.
HIGH VOLTAGE:
This symbol indicates high voltage. It calls your attention to items or
operations that could be dangerous to you and other persons operating this equipment.
Read the message and follow the instructions carefully.
WARNING:
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, can result in
serious injury or death.

This is an OPEN TYPE Controller. The ELC should be kept in an enclosure away from
airborne dust, humidity, electric shock risk and vibration. Also, it is equipped with
protective methods such as some special tools or keys to open the enclosure, so as to
avoid the hazard to users and the damage to the ELC.

Never connect the AC main circuit power supply to any of the input/output terminals, as
it will damage the ELC. Check all the wiring prior to power up. To avoid any
electromagnetic noise, make sure the ELC is properly grounded
.

DO NOT touch terminals when power on.
