Usage Guidelines
L2TP/IPsec relies on the PPP connection process to perform user authentication and protocol configuration. You
specify the protocol used for PPP authentication and whether SecureID tokens are cached on the controller. Client
addresses are assigned from a pool configured with the
ip local pool
command.
Example
The following command configures virtual private dial-in networking:
(host) (coinfig) #vpdn group l2tp
ppp authentication PAP
client configuration dns 10.1.1.2
client configuration wins 10.1.1.2
