the string <multiword 255> or hex <string 255> to add value for this option, the value of the
DHCP client packet’s option needs to match exactly. Use wildcard character “*” for a
partial match of a specified string. Currently it only supports option 60,61, 82 and 125. If an
administrator enters a value other than those mentioned, it will give an error prompt
message.
Format
config dhcp class <class_name 12> [add option <int> [string <multiword 255> | hex
<string255>] | delete option <int>]
Parameters
<class_name 12>
- Enter the DHCP class’s name.
add option
- Specify to add the DHCP class option.
<int>
- Option index.
string
- The character string about DHCP class options.
<multiword 255>
- Enter the string.
hex
- The hexadecimal of string about DHCP class options.
<string255>
- Enter the hexadecimal of the string.
delete option
- Specify to selete the DHCP class option.
<int>
- Option index.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
Example
To add option 60 using hex format and not using wildcard character “*”, DHCP client packet’s
option 60 should have 8 bytes matching the specified hex pattern:
