To configure the parameters that control the operation of the authenticator associated with a port:

Description
This command is used to initialize the authentication state machine of some or all ports.
Format
config 802.1x init [port_based ports [<portlist> | all] | mac_based ports [<portlist> | all]
{mac_address <macaddr>}]
Parameters
port_based ports
- Specify the authentication as the port-based mode.
<portlist>
- Enter the list of ports used for the configuration here.
all
- Specify that all ports will be used.
mac_based ports
- Specify the authentication as the MAC-based mode.
<portlist>
- Enter the list of ports used for the configuration here.
all
- Specify that all ports will be used.
mac_address
- (Optional) Specify the MAC address of client.
<macaddr>
- Enter the MAC address used here.
Restrictions
Only Administrators, Operators and Power-Users can issue this command.
