Repairing
Shut off steam generator according to these
operating instructions and protect against restart.
Install a danger sign on the steam generator.
Protect a spacious area around the repairing zone.
11.3.1 Suction and pressure valves
A Universal 500 – 1000 TC
Remove plugs (pos.41, 43), dismantle and clean
suction and pressure valves, check sealed
surfaces. Reinstall in reverse order.
Replace O-rings pos. 40, 42, 44, 38. In case of
damages on the sealed surfaces, use kompl.
valve repair kit (page 82 – 87).
B Universal 1300 – 1800 TC
Remove plugs (pos.42A, 48), dismantle and clean
suction and pressure valves, check sealed
surfaces. Reinstall in reverse order.
Replace O-rings pos. 42B, 44A, 48A, 53. In case
of damages on the sealed surfaces, use kompl.
valve repair kit (page 82 – 87).
11.3.2 Packings and plungers
A Universal 500 – 1000 TC
Remove hexagon nut (Pos. 46) and disc (Pos. 47)
and take off the valve casing. Remove plug (pos.
41), pressure spring (pos. 33) and suction valves
(pos. 34 – 37). Force out to the front and renew
thrust rings (pos. 30), sleeves (pos. 31) and
backup rings (pos. 32). Check plunger tubes (pos.
24A) and renew if there are damages on their
surfaces. Grease plunger tubes, push on the
valve casing (pos. 29) carefully and fasten it with
the hexagon nut (pos. 46).
If there are damages on the packings, use
complete repair kit packings (pages 82 – 87).
B Universal 1300 – 1800 TC
Remove hexagon nut (Pos. 50) and disc (Pos.
50A) and take off the valve casing. Remove plug
(pos. 42A), pressure spring (pos. 42) and suction
valves (pos. 45 – 47). Force out to the front and
renew pressure rings (pos. 39), hot-water seal
(pos. 40), and support rings (pos. 41). Check
plunger tubes (pos. 29B) and replace if there are
damages on their surfaces. Grease plunger
tubes, push on the valve casing (pos. 43)
carefully and fasten it with hexagon nut
(pos. 50).
If there are damages on the packings, use
complete repair kit packings (pages 82 – 87).
Slightly grease all parts with silicone grease
during installation.
Danger of scalding!
Shut off water supply when working on the water
pump.
Only perform operations on fittings and pipeline
systems when the steam generator installation is
at zero pressure.
Caution during repairings on hot pipelines and
fittings.

11.3
Instandsetzung
Den Dampfautomaten gemäß dieser Betriebs an lei tung
ausschalten und gegen Wieder einschalten sichern. Am
Dampfautomaten ein Warnschild an brin gen. Den
Instandsetzungsbereich weiträumig absichern.
11.3.1 Saug- und Druckventile
A Universal 500 – 1000 TC
Stopfen (Pos.41, 43) entfernen, Saug- und Druck -
ventile ausbauen, reinigen und Dichtflächen
überprüfen. Einbau in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
O-Ringe Pos. 40, 42, 44, 38 erneuern. Bei
Schäden an den Ventildichtflächen kompletten
Reparatursatz Ventile verwenden (S. 82 – 87).
B Universal 1300 – 1800 TC
Stopfen (Pos.42A, 48) entfernen, Saug- und
Druckventile ausbauen, reinigen und Dichtflächen
überprüfen. Einbau in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
O-Ringe Pos. 42B, 44A, 48A, 53 erneuern. Bei
Schäden an den Ventildichtflächen kompl.
Reparatursatz Ventile verwenden (Seite 82 – 87).
11.3.2 Dichtungen und Plunger
A Universal 500 – 1000 TC
Sechskantmutter (Pos. 46) und Scheibe (Pos. 47)
entfernen und das Ventilgehäuse abziehen.
Stopfen (Pos. 41), Druckfeder (Pos. 33) und
Saugventile (Pos. 34 – 37) entfernen.
Druckringe (Pos. 30), Manschetten (Pos. 31) und
Stützringe (Pos. 32) nach vorne heraus drücken
und erneuern. Plungerrohre (Pos. 24A) über -
prüfen und bei Schäden an den Oberflächen
erneuern. Plungerrohre einfetten, das Ventilge -
häuse (Pos. 29) vorsichtig aufschieben und mit
der Sechskantmutter (Pos. 46) festschrauben.
Bei Schäden an den Dichtungen kompletten
Reparatursatz Dichtungen verwenden
(Seite 82 – 87).
B Universal 1300 – 1800 TC
Sechskantmutter (Pos. 50) und Scheibe (Pos.
50A) entfernen und das Ventilgehäuse abziehen.
Stopfen (Pos. 42A), Druckfeder (Pos. 42) und
Saugventile (Pos. 45 – 47) entfernen. Druckringe
(Pos. 39), Heißwasserdichtung (Pos. 40) und
Stützringe (Pos. 41) nach vorne herausdrücken
und erneuern. Plungerrohre (Pos. 29B) über -
prüfen und bei Schäden an den Oberflächen
erneuern. Plungerrohre einfetten, das Ventil -
gehäuse (Pos. 43) vorsichtig aufschieben und mit
der Sechskantmutter (Pos. 50) festschrauben.
Bei Schäden an den Dichtungen kompletten
Reparatursatz Dichtungen verwenden (Seite 82 –
87). Alle Teile mit Silikonfett bei Montage leicht
einfetten.
Verbrühungsgefahr!
Bei Arbeiten an der Wasserpumpe den
Wasserzulauf absperren.
Nur bei druckloser Kesselanlage Arbeiten an
Armaturen und Rohrleitungssystemen
vornehmen.
Vorsicht bei Reparaturen an heißen Rohrleitungen
und Armaturen.
