VERTICAL OFFSET
Variable offset factor, in percentage, ranging from 0% to 100% applied to the
baseline when plotting the reconstructed analog data.
DIGITAL TRACES
Individual selections enable (checked) or disable (unchecked) the display of the
respective digital trace.
OVERLAY PREVIOUS TRACES
When enabled (checked) provides a limited trace history with variable intensity, with
brightest being the newest trace, for both analog and digital traces.
AVERAGE SWEEPS
Averaging control factor for the captured analog data ranging from 1 to 64. When set
to 1, each sweep contains 100% of the data capture for that sweep; the capture buffer
is reset with each sweep. When set to greater than 1 then averaging between captures
is performed on the displayed data; the level of averaging is proportional to the
selected value.
PILEUP REJECT
Capture trigger qualifier. When enabled (checked) the capture trigger is further
qualified by the absence of pile-up events.
TRIGGER MODE
Defines whether the capture is CONTINOUS or SINGLE sweep. When set to
SINGLE, the digital oscilloscope capture logic will wait for a valid trigger then stop
and hold the current captured data until manually triggered or manually armed. In
CONTINOUS mode, data captures will continue as long as the trigger condition is
met.
ARM
The ARM button is used when trigger mode is set to MANUAL to re-arm the capture
logic and wait for the trigger condition to be met.
MANUAL TRIGGER
The TRIGGER button is used when trigger mode is set to MANUAL to
unconditionally force a new capture bypassing the current trigger condition.
TRIGGER SOURCE
Trigger selection for the digital oscilloscope’s capture logic. Edge triggered.
Selection includes following pulses from the DSP: PEAK DETECT, SLOW
DISCRIMINATOR, FAST DISCRIMINATOR, BLR GATE, STORE, EXTERNAL
GATE IN, REJECT, and [TRP] INHIBIT.
Stabilizer
RANGE
Defines the allowed stabilization range; selections are Ge of 1% of F/S, or NaI for
10% of F/S.
