Once the UPnP features have been enabled on your PC, the Lynx should be visible by
clicking on the Network icon through Windows Explorer, as shown below:
Double click on the desired Lynx icon to launch your browser and run the Web-based
control application.
Setting Up a USB Connection
Note: This section applies only to legacy 32-bit Windows Operating Systems. This
communication interface is not supported by 64-bit Operating Systems.
This section describes how to set up a USB PC-to-Lynx communications via USB
connection to a Windows PC (Windows 2000, XP and Vista are supported). USB
requires an RNDIS account in order to control the USB connection.
In order to control the Lynx via a USB connection, an RNDIS account is required.
Typically, USB parameters, including RNDIS, must be set up using some other
connection into Lynx before the USB connection method may be used. These steps
use the conventional IP network access for the Lynx administrator.
