8.
Select the
Genera
l tab, and then select the “Use the following IP address”
option. Enter the following settings.
Figure 76: IP Parameters for USB Setup on RNDIS Adapter
IP =
10.0.0.10
Subnet =
255.255.255.0
All other entries are blank.
Note: The
10.0.0.10
setting assumes that you don't have any other
device on your network currently set to this IP address, including
other adapters within the same PC. If the installation detects a
conflict, a pop-up dialog will notify you, in which case select a new
setting within your subnet mask range (1-255) but use 11 or higher,
as the lower numbers are most likely already assigned to other
devices..
For example, if
10.0.0.10
conflicts, change your entry to
10.0.0.11
or
10.0.0.15
, or
10.0.0.27
, etc.

Press
OK
when done. You're done and may close any open windows.
When the address has been assigned, you'll be able to access the web site using the
USB connection's static address (
10.0.0.2
) from your Internet browser.
Important
: The USB connection is not Java-compliant, so the Digital
Oscilloscope is not available via USB, and the spectrum display is a
not a 'real-time' Java image.
This completes the settings and configuration for a USB connection to the Lynx.
