Suspend/Resume mode
– Requires TTL level, active high or active low,
software selectable. Requires that the acquisition has been armed through
Start command. Active signal begins or resumes acquisition. Inactive signal
suspends acquisition.
Either mode requires that the acquisition has been armed with start-acquire
command.
MCS CHANNEL ADVANCE
External MCS Channel Advance input connector, BNC. TTL compatible, software
selectable logic polarity for active-high or active-low. Pulse >50 ns advances the
current MCS channel during MCS acquisition.
MCS SWEEP ADVANCE
External MCS Sweep Advance input connector, BNC. TTL compatible, software
selectable logic polarity for active-high or active-low. Pulse >50 ns resets the current
sweep in progress and begin new sweep. This will occur with each pulse until the
preset sweeps is reached.
GATE
Coincidence/anti-coincidence input connector, BNC. TTL compatible; software
selectable logic polarity for active-high or active-low.
•
None
– disables coincidence. Signal at GATE input has no effect on data
storage.
•
Coincidence
– GATE signal active at the pulse processing/storage time
allows storage of the event.
•
Anti-Coincidence
– GATE signal active at the pulse processing/storage time
blocks storage of event.
•
Combined Coincidence and Combined Anti-Coincidence
- Storage of an
event occurs for Coincidence or is blocked for Anti-Coincidence when the
event’s pulse processing/storage time occurs within the storage window. The
storage window is defined by the GATE signal active period in combination
with Input Gate Delay and Input Pulse Width parameters. Memory group 1
stores non-gated events; memory group 2 stores gated events. Data requests
for group 1 return the actual data; requests for group 2 return the combined
(summed) data for group 1 and group 2.
The pulse processing/storage time occurs at 1.1 x (Ri FlatTop). All time
values in microseconds.
CHANGER READY
Sample Changer Ready input connector, BNC. TTL compatible, software selectable
logic polarity for active-high or active-low. Active signal allows when a Start
Acquire command is received. Inactive signal will defer the start of acquisition until
CHANGER READY becomes active.
