flat top are based on current filter shaping. Useful to optimizing
pole zero and for inspecting signal noise characteristics.
Fast Shaper
Reconstructed fast shaper energy pulse with shaping dependent on
the setting of the Fast Discriminator Shaping selection.
ADC
Reconstructed energy tail pulse signal from the detector with

Firmware Update
The Firmware Update option lets you update the Lynx's firmware.
Figure 70: Updating the Firmware
Be sure that all acquisitions have been turned off before performing the update.
During the update the device will reset; all communication and acquisition activities
will be aborted. If acquisition was active for SCA's, Counters, List/TList, or MSS,
any data in the internal acquisition buffers will be lost once the device resets.
Beginning with Version 1.5, standard firmware for the Lynx is supplied as two binary
files named DISK.BIN and NK.BIN under the
Firmware
folder of the supplied
media.
Note: DISK.BIN is strictly to use for bootloader, while NK.BIN is strictly to
be used for firmware update via web browser.
In some cases, more descriptive file naming may be used, however, for such cases
appropriate documentation will be supplied.
Please refer to Appendix H,
Updating Lynx Firmware from Previous Versions to
V1.5.x
on page 208 for instructions on performing a firmware update.
