for the Sample Changer interface.
Note that the Gamma-Analyst and Gamma-Products selection requires an available
serial port from your PC. If the port is not available or already in-use then the
selection cannot be made.
To utilize the built-in sample changer interface consisting of the RDY input and
ADV output, select the
Internal Chgr.
Signal polarity settings for these can be made
through Genie’s run-time adjust dialog.
Parameters Settings
This section discusses the selections within the
Settings
menu that apply to the
Lynx.
All selections within the Settings menu, with the exception of Input, have no
adjustable controls in MID editor. Settings for these devices are made through
Genie’s run-time Acquisition and Adjust dialogs.
Input Settings
The
Input
selection is used to change the name of the Input and set up the structure
of its memory via the Define Input dialog. Input naming within a definition must be
unique, else cannot be loaded into the run-time database.
Note: This dialog’s initial focus is the
Cancel
button; pressing the keyboard’s
ENTER
key after making changes in this dialog box will cancel the changes.
Be sure to click on the
OK
button to accept the changes.
